Hello, my name is Elena! I got pregnant at the age of 38. Pregnancy was hard, I was kept in labour three times. The labour was rapid, I gave birth to Vera in an hour and a half. From the very beginning she did not develop like my eldest daughter. At about a year old Vera became silent. She reacted very badly to irritating sounds. She didn't speak until she was four and a half years old. Before she started to speak it was obvious that she was taking longer to process information. She was diagnosed with partial understanding of spoken language and RAS. After she started talking there were a lot of speech therapy problems. When children start to speak late it leads to mental development. We went to a remedial kindergarten. In a group with psycho- speech delays. Always engaged with a speech therapist, but very much suffer still almost all the sounds. She went to school with a diagnosis of 7.2, the first class sat without digestibility of the material. In the remedial school two first classes. And I made a decision not to give my daughter to the school of the eighth type, and try another first class. At the moment this autumn she will go for the third time to the first grade.
